Critical Care & Emergency Medicine

The Animal Medical Center maintains a state-of-the-art facility to provide compassionate and expert care for pets that need emergency and critical assistance for:

• Trauma
• Collapse
• Severe bleeding
• Poison ingestion
• Severe debilitation
• Illness

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our ICU is staffed by criticalists certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Our team of specialists work with patients as part of the critical-care team. Because we never close, we are able to provide round-the-clock monitoring and treatment of pets who are critically ill and who require emergency care.
