RADIATION ONCOLOGY |
| The AMC employs the only Specialist in New York City certified in Radiation Oncology. We are currently installing a newly acquired, state-of-the-art linear accelerator that will substantially improve our ability to deliver safe and effective high doses of radiation to cancer, while sparing normal surrounding tissues. Additionally, specialized techniques will be available such as electron therapy that will enable us to safely treat surface skin tumors. |
