RADIOLOGY AND DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING |
| The AMC employs on-site, the only Radiologist in New York City who is certified by the American College of Radiology. State-of-the-art equipment helps us provide rapid diagnostic assessment of pets who require medical or surgical care. Two radiography suites operate seven days a week to provide radiography, fluoroscopy and specialty imaging. Ultrasound, CT or MRI often guide biopsies to optimize diagnosis. |

| X-ray images from referred patients are stored on an Internet archive. Convenient retrieval of these images is offered as a service by The AMC to referring doctors. Recently added technologies include a helical CT machine, MRI machine, digital radiography system with integrated PACS and new echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound machines. |
