The Animal Medical Center Hosts PAW Day 2010
A Comprehensive Health Fair for Pets - and their families
(New York, N.Y. - June 5, 2010) The Animal Medical Center of New York is delighted to host PAW Day 2010 - a health fair for families and their pets - at Carl Schurz Park (84th Street & East End Avenue) in NYC. Celebrating its Centennial Anniversary this year, The Animal Medical Center is the world’s largest hospital for companion animals.
P.A.W., an acronym for Pet and Wellness, will feature an exercise station, an obesity and nutrition station, a dentistry station, an emergency medicine station – 17 health and medical stations for pets and their owners – all geared towards the betterment of companion animals residing in the tri-state area. More than 15 veterinarians from The Animal Medical Center (AMC) will be on site to answer questions at all event stations. The event is a public service effort of AMC and is hosted by AMC’s Junior Committee. Event sponsors include NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, NYC Office of Emergency Management, The City of New York Parks and Recreation and Bikeyourdognyc.com.
