Dr. Mark Peterson Appointed to Executive Board of Veterinary Medical Association of New York City |

| The AMC's Co-Chairman of Post Graduate Education, Dr. Mark Peterson, DVM, ACVIM, is the newest member of the executive board of the Veterinary Medical Association of New York City (VMA of NYC). The AMC now has two members on the board in 2007: Dr. Peterson as a member-at-large, and Dr. Alexandra van der Woerdt, DVM, MS, ACVO, ECVO, and The AMC's Staff Ophthalmologist, is immediate past president. |

| The Veterinary Medical Association of New York City (VMA of NYC) was founded in 1894, and is one of the oldest local veterinary associations in the United States. The Association holds 10 scientific meetings each year at which prominent speakers provide information on the latest developments in veterinary medicine. VMA of NYC membership is composed of 275 veterinarians practicing in the five boroughs of New York City. |
