The AMC Celebrates Its Centennial Year!

This year, 2010, marks the one hundredth anniversary of The Animal Medical Center.

A century ago, The AMC opened its doors – and its heart – to the citizens and companion animals of New York. To place this moment in the proper perspective, construction of the original Penn Station and the New York Public Library were both nearing completion and William Howard Taft was the nation’s president.

The achievement of a milestone this significant demands a celebration. We invite you to join us as we reflect on the past, evaluate the present and renew our purpose for the future.

To celebrate this achievement, The AMC has planned a year-long series of events that embody our ongoing commitment to service, science and compassionate care. As a leading academic veterinary hospital on the brink of a new century, we renew our commitment to promote the health and well-being of companion animals through advanced treatment, research and education.

We invite you to join us in our centennial commemoration and we thank you for your continued support.
