About the Emergency Room Coordinator Role

The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, the world’s largest non profit animal hospital is seeking a full time Emergency Services Coordinator which will be responsible for providing clerical support to the Emergency Services.

Shift

Tuesday – Saturday 2 PM – 10 PM

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Stocking and ordering
  • maintaining files, managing correspondence with Clients & rDVMs by email, phone, in-person
  • Assisting with discharges, prescription requests, and insurance forms
  • Other duties as assigned

The Emergency Service is a fast paced environment that requires an individual who is:

  • Must be able to handle high pressure situations
  • Must have an attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have a minimum of TWO years medical/clerical veterinary coordinator experience
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Must be able to bend/kneel with patient assistance
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Salary Range

$22 – $28 per hour
