Anti-Seizure Medication Trial for Cats


The purpose of the study is to trial a new anti-seizure medication in cats to reduce the frequency of seizures. 


  • Cats with presumed idiopathic epilepsy  
  • Epilepsy has not responded to at least one attempted treatment (more than 1 seizure per 3 months) 
  • Able to administer twice daily oral medications 
  • Willing to return for 3-week and 3-month bloodwork and urine testing
