Anti-Seizure Medication Trial for Cats
Purpose
The purpose of the study is to trial a new anti-seizure medication in cats to reduce the frequency of seizures.
Eligibility
- Cats with presumed idiopathic epilepsy
- Epilepsy has not responded to at least one attempted treatment (more than 1 seizure per 3 months)
- Able to administer twice daily oral medications
- Willing to return for 3-week and 3-month bloodwork and urine testing
