Individualized Radiation Therapy – What’s Right for your Patient?

Individualized Radiation Therapy – What’s Right for your Patient? with Dr. Rachel St-Vincent, DVM, MVSc, DACVR (RO), Service Head of Radiation Oncology, Schwarzman Animal Medical Center

This one-hour educational program will provide participants with:

  • A better understanding of when radiation therapy is indicated in the fight against cancer
  • An understanding of the multiple protocols and modalities now available in Veterinary Radiation Oncology and that not all cancers and patients are best treated the same way
  • A better understanding of the coordination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy when combo treatments are indicated

This program has been approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval. Participants will be asked to complete a Google Form during the course to receive CE credit. The form will be shared in the Zoom chat during the event.

About Rachel St-Vincent, DVM, MVSc, DACVR (RO)

Dr. Rachel St-Vincent

Dr. Rachel St-Vincent received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Montreal and completed a one-year internship program in small animal medicine and surgery at Washington State University. She completed a residency program in veterinary radiology and earned a Master of Science Degree at Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. She did her clinical training in radiation oncology at the Animal Cancer Treatment Center and William Beaumont Teaching Hospital in Michigan.
