On August 1st, 2019, Dr. Alexandra van der Woerdt, Staff Doctor and Head of Ophthalmology at the Animal Medical Center, discussed the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts in cats and dogs. Attendees learned how to recognize the signs and gained a better understanding of the ins and outs of cataract surgery, recovery, and aftercare.
