Dr. Annalis Cigarroa grew up in Laredo, TX — a city that lies on the border to Mexico. She obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in 2020 before returning to Texas for her veterinary degree at Texas A&M. She then completed a one year rotating internship at NC State University. She has always been interested in specialty medicine and found the perfect match in Neurology as it allows her to combine her passions for both medicine and surgery. Dr. Cigarroa is excited to join the Neurology Service and looks forward to exploring New York City.
