Dr Frank Tsai of the Animal Medical Center in New York City

Dr. Frank Tsai grew up in Taiwan and moved to Bellingham, WA in high school. After studying 2 years at the University of Washington, Seattle, he decided to move around the country. He finished his undergraduate study at UC Davis, then obtained his veterinary degree at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

After completing a rotating small animal internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles and practicing many years in general medicine, Dr. Tsai has developed an interest in integrative medicine and physical rehabilitation. Following many years of practicing acupuncture and physical rehabilitation therapy, he is excited to be joining the Integrative & Rehabilitative Medicine Service and helping all the beloved pets.

Dr. Tsai also serves in the United States Army Reserve as a Veterinary Corps Officer. He looks forward to being able to help our courageous Working Dogs.
