Dr. Mariel Covo grew up in New York City and obtained her undergraduate degree at Yale University. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a one year rotating internship and three year residency in internal medicine at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center. Dr. Covo enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, though is particularly interested in immune-mediated diseases, hematology, and gastroenterology.
