
Dr. Cherzan earned his veterinary degree from Washington State University. He completed both a rotating internship and a surgical specialty internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital – Sorrento Valley in San Diego, California, where he developed a strong foundation in surgical principles and patient care.
Dr. Cherzan went on to complete a residency in surgery at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident. Now a Senior Veterinarian in the Surgery Service, his clinical interests include joint replacement, trauma, and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Cherzan is dedicated to advancing surgical excellence through compassionate patient care, collaboration, and mentorship.
