Dr. Robert Dyke is a Staff Doctor at AMC’s Community Practice Service. A native of Iowa, Dr. Dyke received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Following 8 years of private practice he returned to Iowa State University to complete a residency in canine and feline general practice and in 2014 he achieved board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

Prior to joining AMC, Dr. Dyke was a Clinical Assistant Professor in Community Practice at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. His duties included seeing cases with 4th year veterinary students during their clinical rotations. Dr. Dyke has twice received the Washington State University Richard Westcott Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.

Dr. Dyke enjoys the diversity of cases seen in Community Practice, and has an interest in surgery, low stress handling, and working with new pet owners.

Dr. Dyke and his wife share their home with several dogs and a cat.
