Dr. TJ Langlois of the Animal Medical Center in New York City

Dr. Langlois grew up in Birmingham, Alabama before moving to Auburn, Alabama where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Auburn University. She continued her education at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After graduation, Dr. Langlois moved to New York City where she completed a rotating internship followed by a specialty internship in Emergency and Critical Care at the Animal Medical Center. She then pursued a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the Animal Medical Center, during which she served as AMC’s Chief Resident.

Throughout her internships and residency, Dr. Langlois developed a love for both New York City and AMC, leading her to continue her career at AMC as a Staff Criticalist. Her favorite aspects of working at AMC include the diverse caseload, the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of specialists within the hospital, and the chance to connect with clients and their pets throughout NYC. Dr. Langlois’ professional interests include sepsis, polytrauma, and mechanical ventilation.

Outside of work, Dr. Langlois enjoys exploring NYC, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Langlois is a passionate advocate for rescue pets and currently shares her home with her four rescues: a pitbull mix named Annie, a terrier mix named Olive, and two Burmese cats named Boy Cat and Girl Cat.
