Dr. Donovan is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists since 2006. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and, the following year, completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center. After a year in general practice, she returned to Cornell for a residency in anatomic pathology and gained additional postgraduate experience through a fellowship at the Zoological Society of San Diego.
Dr. Donovan oversees the necropsy service, directs interactive teaching and educational rounds at AMC, and participates in clinical research collaborations in her role as Service Head of the Anatomic Pathology Service at the Animal Medical Center. She is a native of New York, and currently lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children and a multitude of pets.
