Jade came into my life when she was 3 months old. She was a little ball of fur, mischievous and curious and truly marched to the beat of her own drum. As she grew she became the official greeter of the house and if you dared ignored her she would make herself known by slightly digging her claws into your leg all the while staring up at you as if to say “ look at me.” In her younger days she could leap up on to the fridge from a sitting position where she would proceed to push everything off the top of the refrigerator. Jadie truly wanted, what she wanted and there was no stopping her, but who would want to, who can look at that beautiful funny face and get mad at her, not me, that’s for sure. At the age of 13 she was diagnosed with IBD with a possible underlying disease which caused her to pass suddenly. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful care, the kindness and compassion all of the doctors and staff at AMC showed my beautiful little girl. I will miss that little face forever and I will carry her in my heart always. I know she is now with my beloved cat Smudgie probably causing havoc in heaven and knowing she get can away with it. Mommy loves and misses you Jadie, give Smudgie a kiss from me.
