Dr. Leanna Wooley of the Animal Medical Center of New York City

Dr. Leanne Wooley earned her degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, where she built a strong foundation in multidisciplinary care.

She remained at AMC as a senior emergency doctor, managing primary cases while also mentoring and teaching interns. Dr. Wooley values a collaborative approach to medicine and works closely with colleagues across specialties to provide the highest standard of care for her patients. She is particularly passionate about emergency medicine and finds fulfillment in both the fast-paced nature of the ER and the opportunity to support the next generation of veterinarians.

In her free time, Dr. Wooley enjoys hiking and spending time with her two Labrador Retrievers, Chesney and Louie. They also serve as blood donors for the hospital, helping patients in need, a role that makes her work especially meaningful.
