The department of diagnostic imaging at the Animal Medical Center utilizes the advanced imaging modalities of radiography (x-ray), ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. The department is staffed by two board certified radiologists (Dr. Anthony Fischetti and Dr. Alexandre Le Roux), two residents in training (a three-year residency recognized by the American College of Veterinary Radiology and European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging), and 12 technicians skilled in making radiographs, CT, and MRI images.

To determine prognosis and guide treatment, we offer the following diagnostic services:

Images from our diagnostic assessments are stored on an internet-based archive for easy retrieval and dissemination. Convenient retrieval of these images is offered to all referring veterinarians.
