I completed my veterinary Emergency & Critical Care residency at the AMC in 2019, where I learned from some of the brightest minds and saved countless animals thanks largely to charity funds. I will be running the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon with my friends from the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center. All donations will go towards The Buddy Fund, one of the AMC’s incredible charity programs. The Buddy Fund provides free or subsidized care for the treatment of cancer in animals. By alleviating the financial burden of treatment, the AMC hopes to provide more pet owners with access to some of the finest veterinary care during these very difficult times. I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Before going off to vet school, I spent two years in the surgery department at AMC. I am fundraising for the AMC to the Rescue fund, a community fund that helps rescue animals by subsidizing advanced specialty care for animals whose health is an obstacle to their adoption. I chose this fund is because my kitty Tato was able to have his life-saving procedure through AMC to the Rescue.
