Pet Food Basics: Choosing the Right Diet for Your Dog or Cat

Feeding a high-quality, balanced diet is one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy. But with so much variety in pet foods and diet trends, how do pet owners know where to begin? Join us on Wednesday, July 27th at 6pm EDT as Dr. Lisa Weeth, Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist, and a member of the WSAVA Global Nutrition Committee, discusses the basics behind pet food and the different options available to feed your cat or dog. Learn about the general nutrition your pet needs, and how to create a diet plan that will keep your four-legged family member healthy and happy.

This is a free, online-only event hosted via Zoom (https://zoom.us/). The Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants the day of the event. Please email UsdanInstitute@amcny.org with any questions.
