Dr. Tess Stanley

Dr. Tess Staley is a born and raised New Englander from Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at College of the Holy Cross in 2015, during which time she volunteered at local veterinary hospitals and wildlife clinics.

Dr. Staley then worked as an Animal Care Attendant at the Foster Hospital for Small Animals in North Grafton, MA, where she gained a deeper appreciation of the magnitude of veterinary specialty medicine. Her veterinary degree was obtained at The Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom. She then completed a one year rotating internship at the Maine Veterinary Medical Center in 2023, continuing there as a veterinarian in Emergency & Critical Care before moving to New York to pursue advanced training in Oncology at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center.

Though she will miss the adrenaline rush of a midnight porcupine quill removal, she is thrilled to be gaining invaluable experience with AMC’s Oncology Service and helping provide patients with compassionate care throughout their cancer journey.

In her spare time Dr. Staley enjoys spending time with her family, baking sweets while listening to podcasts, and gardening.
