Upcoming Events

celebration of lifeCelebration of Life: Pet Memorial Event
Thursday, September 13th, 6:00-8:00pm
Animal Medical Center, 6th Floor Conference Room
Losing a pet is difficult and it can be hard to deal with feelings of grief and find closure. In honor of National Pet Memorial Day, join us to remember the pets we’ve lost and celebrate the lives we shared.

Hear remarks from:

  • Kate Coyne, CEO, Animal Medical Center
  • Dr. Nicole Leibman, Chief of Oncology, The Cancer Institute at AMC
  • Mary Brosnan, LICSW, Leader of AMC’s Pet Loss Support Group

We will be showing a pet memorial slideshow. If you’d like your pet to be included, please send an email to usdaninstitute@amcny.org with your pet’s name, picture, and 1-5 sentences. This could include a message of love or a favorite memory.

This is a free event and is open to the public. Out of respect for others, we ask that you please leave any pets at home.
