Learn More Since 1963, the Stephen & Christine Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC), the world’s largest non-profit animal hospital, has trained generations of veterinary leaders through its Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Institute for Postgraduate Education.
The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center presented the 15th Annual Living Legends Awards yesterday, honoring three pets who overcame serious health issues thanks to the world-class veterinary care they received at AMC, along with their owner’s love and commitment.
The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, the largest non-profit animal hospital in the world, announced recertification as the only Level 1 Veterinary Trauma Center in New York City, and one of just five worldwide.
In 2023 the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Emma and Georgina Bloomberg AMC to the Rescue Fund. Established in February 2013, the fund provides free or subsidized specialty care to rescue animals whose health is an obstacle to their adoption.
